You know, christian/derivatives would be a lot more interesting if one studies it as one would study or "get into the world" if one were to approach it as say a RPG/video gamey/fantasy bookish thing.
Unfortuantly once you surface and go back to the world, you'd realise that there are people who really DO (and some who just say they do) believe this stuff.
"OK, I know aall about the Starwars universe, startrek universe, Tolkien universe, Christianity, Warhammer.. wait a minute! DAMNIT, what the hell are these people doing in the same physical reality that i'm in!"
So, go look at a sci-fi universe and maybe dumb down the tech to today's/the future level and compare it to the Christian universe. Do the same for any fantasy universe that you could mash side by side with human history. Compare. (And look at the "so-called" hardcore sci-fi/fantasy fans.)
